Panthers thoughts before the season
| Inside Bryce's Brain |
I may be one of the few people still excited about the Panthers, after seeing them play in the four preseason games, but I think there are plenty of reasons to feel the way I do. With the Panthers' strong defense, I think they have a chance to win or at least keep every game close. The games will most likely be boring during the first three quarters because there won’t be a ton of touchdowns for either team and we will probably see a lot of punts. But when the fourth quarter rolls around, the Panthers will be in a game that goes down to the wire - always a fan favorite ending!
NFL Preview
It's always fun to make predictions before the season starts. It's more fun to take a couple of risks when predicting. Here is what I'm thinking before the seasons starts. NFC South: Falcons, Saints, Panthers, Bucs NFC North: Packers, Vikings, Bears, Lions NFC East: Cowboys, Giants, Redskins, Eagles NFC West: 49ers, Rams, Cardinals, Seahawks Del-home in Cleveland
While the Carolina Panthers attempt to insert Matt Moore and Jimmy Clausen into the quarterback role, Jake Delhomme is having a stellar preseason for the Cleveland Browns. Through three games, Delhomme is 38-of-48 for 245 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Panthers’ 2010 opponents: More excited to see Peppers or Delhomme?
With the Carolina Panthers less than three weeks away from the regular season opener against the New York Giants, there are plenty of storylines to be looking forward to. There are the usual division rivals that include the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints, breaking in the first-year New Meadowlands Stadium in New York, testing the secondary against Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco in Week 3 – but Weeks 5 and 12 should get the most attention from Carolina fans. Listen Now!Jim Szoke, of the Carolina Panthers Radio Network, joins Bryce to talk about the team as they get ready for Saturday's preseason game against the Titans. Jim discusses why the Panthers aren't missing Julius Peppers...what is more important to see from the offense than just TD's...and why Matt Moore is still the starting QB for the regular season. |
