I can't believe UNC lost again. I guess we should be used to this by now, but it's the TARHEELS at home! Florida State is pretty good this year, but you can't get down by 20 to them. I will give the 'Heels credit for making a decent comeback and cutting the lead down. However, this team isn't any good and even though I was giving them a little hope a couple of weeks ago...forget about it. The goal now is to finish better than last in the ACC. Will UNC be in the ACC play-in game? Wouldn't that be something?! We will talk to Adam Lucas from Tarheel Blue in the morning and see what he thinks.

I always love the NBA All Star Weekend because there are so many different events to enjoy. I even love the celebrity game! This year's festivities were pretty good. I thought the rookie-sophomore game was excellent. I was glad to see Steph Curry play well and Brandon Jennings has the sweetest haircut. Speaking of Steph Curry...he almost won the 3-point contest. I was bummed he couldn't pull it out though, especially letting a Boston Celtic win it!

The Dunk Contest was weak because the two guys I wanted to do well, didn't do anything creative. I see better dunks from Shannon Brown and Gerald Wallace during games. It's a contest...do something unique!

I thought DeMar DeRozan had the two best dunks. Nate Robinson can't win every year...come on! DeRozan's two dunks used his teammate really well and they were creative. He should have been your winner.

O well...at least tonight we get the All Star game...should be fun!

Duke just pulled out a close game against Boston College. Duke had such a big lead and then dumb mistakes down the stretch allowed BC back in the game. It was good for Duke to get a win on the road because they have struggled away from Cameron Indoor this season. However, it goes to show you how those Cameron Crazies make Duke so much better at home.

In the past week, I watched Duke get dominated by Georgetown, dominate Georgia Tech, and then win a close one against BC. Duke has got to be more consistent and I think it's time to find their identity. It's clear they have a ton of talent, but the role players have to step it up and contribute more effectively. I'm so impressed with Jon Scheyer this year and he makes me question if he is actually better than JJ Redick was! I will leave you with that...

• I can't believe the Browns won a game...especially against the Steelers! This is what makes the NFL great.
• The Saints continue to win close games. That makes me more confident in a team compared to a team that blows everyone out. It's important to be tested
• The Ravens have been a tease. Some weeks they look great and other weeks they don't. I guess it helps to look good when you're playing against the Lions.
• Chicago is one of the most disappointing teams and the Packers have been so impressive since their loss to the Bucs. I was ready to give up on them after that. Can't wait for a Vikings-Packers rematch in the playoffs.
• Colts keep rolling even though Brandon Marshall put up a day to remember...especially for his fantasy owners.
• Seriously...how bad are the Chiefs? How big was Cassel's contract?
• The Panthers are a joke. Matt Moore is not the answer. Fire Fox.
• Rex Ryan is the man and gives the best interviews. Please keep winning Jets.
• Vikings responded well to the loss to the Cards. Bengals need to step their game up if they want to prove they are a legit team to fear in the playoffs.
• The Jags were cute earlier in the season and I'm still a fan of MJD, but they are done. Dolphins still have a good chance to sneak into the playoffs.
• Texans are going to finish the season strong again and give hope for next year.
• If only the Titans listened to me and played Vince Young earlier in the season, they would be making the playoffs. I like that they still have a chance. Too bad it's a slim chance.
• Who were the guys that wore the Redskins uniform on Sunday? Wow...34 points for the 'Skins!
• Chargers keep rolling and the Cowboys can't win in December. Is Phillip Rivers an MVP candidate?
• I could watch the Eagles and Giants play each other every week. Now that's entertainment.
• What in the world happened to the Cardinals? That was ugly and Fitzgerald cost me my fantasy win! However, good for the 49ers...showed the world they are for real. You know how much I am a fan of Mike Singletary.
